Quirky we are, but funky, practical and colourful too. We are also proud to say that we support fair trade standards in helping workers use their skills to earn a fair wage, both with local manufacture in Scotland and further a field. With an eye on the rural landscape and our throw away world, Jump garments make use of recycled fabrics and buttons (it takes 24 recycled plastic bottles to make one fleece jumper) and are hand finished to the highest quality – no machine stitched buttons here.
Local Scottish tartans and tweeds are also used to create garments that can be treasured and passed from one child to another. We won’t say we are perfect - far from – but we are aware and trying to make a difference where we can.
‘We’ are two hardworking mums (the former being the definition of the latter!), our kitchen is in the heart of the Scotland where designer Shona Mackenzie cooks up wonderful characters that earn their places in young children’s hearts making memories that last forever – childhood nostalgia, remembering feelings of being cosy, safe and cherished – priceless.
